Hands-on dirty fun. Children enjoy handfuls of worms in vermicomposting demonstrations in May and harvesting in September, all while learning the benefits of eating vegetables over common processed foods.
Our goal moves beyond mere comprehension of biology to motivating practical changes in life style and stimulating young minds to imagine a different kind of engagement in the web of eating… perhaps even inspiring a new crop of organic farmers!
Our field trips are composed of modules giving you the ability to create a customized learning experience for your students.
We require a group of 10 or more students to run a field trip and our cost is $3 per student.
